About Daniel

Daniel is a photographer, camera operator and focus puller located in Birmingham, AL. He received his BFA in Photography from the University of Montevallo in 2013. His still photography work has been featured in publications like Skate Jawn, Transworld Skateboarding and Thrasher Magazine. Daniel has been a camera operator on ad shoots for brands like: Pillsbury, Hillshire Farms, Ghirardelli, Reynolds Kitchens, Fleischmanns, Kellogs, Food & Wine, Cooking Light, Southern Living, Allrecipes, Alabama Public Television and The Pioneer Woman.
Daniel ultimately has a passion for photography and cinematography. He’s always learning, obsessing/organizing his kit or camera builds. Constantly working to perfect the process of analog and digital workflows. The majority of his work from ‘21-’23 has been as a focus puller/camera support/loader on commercial, advertising and documentary projects. He invests in his workflow frequently, and has all of the tools needed to shoot and offload any project safely, no matter the location.
