Skateboarding was the sole reason I picked up a camera at age 16 (14 years ago, woof). Photographing a liberating act such as skateboarding allowed me to explore the use of light, shadow, composition and the decisive moment as pioneered by the greats (Photographers and Cinematographers alike).
